Intro & New Features

CCM introduces the Tacks XF80 Junior Hockey Skates for the 2024 year. This skate features a high stiffness profile, an EVA layer comfort liner to provide a better fit into the boot, and a flex tendon 3.0 guard that allows greater extension on skating strides for increased speed. Available in sizes 1-3.5 (full and half), as well as regular and wide widths.

Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile

Designed with a high stiffness rating of 160, it allows the skate to produce more powerful strides. Paired along with it is the thermo-formable core, for great skating performance. The one-piece boot allows players to get more direct energy transfer and a closer fit for faster strides. The 3D texturization and chrome facings combine for added design richness and quality.

Internal Padding & Liner

The HD microfiber is a high-resistance EVA layer, delivering fit and comfort all throughout the boot. The memory foam with seamless comfort is made of multi-density foam pads with a comfort finish wrap that anatomically wraps around your foot for the ultimate fit and comfort.

Tendon Guard

The tendon guard on these skates is made of the flex tendon 3.0 technology. This piece improves the range of motion, allowing for greater extension on skating strides for increased speed. The enhanced design provides more protection and support.

Tongue

When CCM was creating the tongue for these skates, they thought of comfort. That's why these skates feature a metatomic tritech tongue, which is a 7-mm black felt with foam core reinforcement and a molded lacebite protection tongue. All its protection wraps around your foot for an excellent fit and comfort.

Footbed

The molded CCM ortholite footbed deisgn is an ultra-lightweight, molded fit created for enhanced comfort. These are heat-moldable, which allows them to mold to your feet.

Holder & Steel

The XF80 skates use the SpeedBlade XS holder, which is CCM's quick-release holder with the metal pin bladelock system, keeping your steel securely in one place. Paired with this holder, the XF80 skates come stock with the XS Pro stainless steel. The XS Pro is a taller blade that gives you a better attack angle while providing a long-lasting edge, all for improved skating performance.

The CCM Tacks XF80 Junior Hockey Skates come in sizes 1-3.5 with full and half options available. They also come in regular and wide widths, allowing options for that perfect fit.
